Out of Season Private Boat Trips | 8 h Off-Season Full-Day Boat Trip

Weather permitting, we can spend the whole day together exploring the prison islands of Grgur and Goli or visiting Vela Luka.

Vela Luka is a 2.5 hour boat ride away one way. We pass by Wild Bays, Stara Baška, the island of Prvić (the largest uninhabited island in the Adriatic), and Baška.

The island of Goli is also a 2.5 hour drive from Punat, and we also pass by Wild Bays and Stara Baška, the island of Prvić or the island of Grgur.

We can also stay nearby and spend more time on the island of Plavnik (the second largest uninhabited island in Croatia) and the Wild Bays, and maybe even swim and visit the monastery on the islet of Košljun.

We can improvise the route or let us know your wishes in advance!

The length of the trip is also flexible.

Rent a boat with capt. Bobo. Don't be fooled by the word off-season!

The weather in spring can be just as nice as in summer.

Weather permitting, we can spend the whole day together exploring the prison islands of Grgur and Goli or visiting Vela Luka.

The price of this excursion is  400 - 480 € /boat.

For smaller groups we offer discounted prices according to the 2 categories:

 - less than 10 people:                                        440 €/boat

 - less than 6 people:                                           400 €/boat

  • Duration: Full day (weather permitting).

  • Destinations: Goli Otok, Sveti Grgur, or Vela Luka.

  • Historical Context: Goli Otok is known as the "Croatian Alcatraz," a former high-security political prison. It’s a fascinating, albeit sobering, site for history buffs.

  • Weather Sensitivity: Because this tour crosses more open water to reach the further islands, it is more dependent on calm sea conditions than the coastal bay tours.

  • Off-Season Perk: Capt. Bobo correctly notes that spring weather is often ideal for these specific islands, as they have very little shade and can be punishingly hot in the peak of July or August.
